Pondcam

It’s that time again. The waters of the garden pond are bubbling like some demented casserole with jellied dumplings floating in the froth. Mid-March, and the frogs come out of their wet lairs for the annual jamboree. They pair up and splosh about and then, well then there’s a lot of nothing at all. They sit in icy stillness, surrounded by their gelatinous progeny.

I’ve been playing with Dex’s GoPro. I’ve discovered I can trigger it over wi-fi from my iPad. This morning I rigged it up in its waterproof  case suspended over the water, and stood in the shed listening to the rain beat on the plastic roof, waiting for some amphibious action. Eventually a conjugated duo surfaced and I managed to capture the least exciting footage in the history of documentary cinema.

I present Pondcam: Episode 1.
